What happened to the economy?
As of this writing, the Obama administration has
been in office for about four months now. In the first few days in
office, he proposed some very bold and far reaching spending plans to
provide economic recovery, as well as social engineering. These were
heavily debated by liberal and conservatives on the radio and TV talk

Obama at Notre Dame
President Obama was invited to give this year’s
commencement address at Notre Dame and well as receiving an honorary
law degree from the university. Being invited to deliver the
commencement address is worthy; after all, he is the president and

measure of respect that it deserves and this means that he is a
significant person in our country and world. However, many in the
Catholic and Pro-Life communities are angered with the awarding of the
honorary degree for a politician that has one of the worse records on
right-to-life issues.

The 9-12 Project
This
movement wants to stop the fighting and get back to the core of what
makes us as a people and a nation great. When we talk about policies,
procedures, and philosophies we get lost in arguments that both rational
and irrational. Then the arguments escalate into personal attacks and
name calling because we do not understand each others points of view. But if we move to discussion back to fundamental
principles and can agree on a starting framework, a common framework, to make decisions. All
of these policy questions become much
simpler.
This idea of having a framework for make decisions is vital for making
good decisions. (more)
